AI Crispy Talks

Feldman compresses a real thesis into three lines: as AI automates offensive work — vulnerability discovery, phishing at scale, exploit chains — the defensive window shrinks to seconds, and response latency becomes part of the security architecture itself. That's largely right, though it's worth remembering who's saying it: Cerebras sells the fastest inference on the market, so 'speed is a security primitive' doubles neatly as a product pitch. The weak spot in the argument is that raw speed means little without accuracy — a fast wrong verdict in incident response is worse than a slow correct one. Still, expect time-to-detect to become a metric CISOs actually buy on, and the silicon vendors are already positioning for it.
AI is raising the stakes in cybersecurity. If attacks are fast, defense must be faster. Speed is becoming a security primitive.

At @cerebras, we like building the platforms on which other people’s ideas take flight. Yesterday at @TechCrunch Disrupt, I was asked how my grandkids will use AI. I told the room I don’t know. In the late ’90s, I was building some of the first hardware-based switches and routers. A whole community of us were doing it, and between us we made I…
