Our take: security is a credible dark horse for inference demand — SOC triage, code auditing and red-teaming are exactly the agentic, token-hungry workflows enterprises already pay premium prices for. But the metric is slippery: most security work will be embedded inside general coding and ops agents, so isolating a clean 'security share' may be impossible in practice. The safer bet is that coding dominates raw token volume while security punches above its weight in revenue per token. Worth watching which vendors actually disclose usage splits by 2027.
